Vourvourou is located on the Sithonia peninsula, in Halkidiki, 110 km from Thessaloniki's Macedonia airport, and 14 km from Agios Nikolaos which has all the usual facilities as well as a medical centre, chemists, police station, post office and ATM.
The Halkidiki bus station (KTEL) runs a regular bus service to and from Thessaloniki and surrounding areas. A taxi service is also available. Transport by taxi to and from Thessaloniki airport costs around 70,00 Euro (one way).
